Originally from Cuba, Joey Diaz got his start in comedy by telling jokes while serving time at a correctional facility in 1988. Since then he has risen to fame and has most recently appeared on Comedy Central's This Is Not Happening, IFC's Maron, FOX's Brooklyn Nine Nine, the 2016 film Rules Don't Apply and the 2014 film Grudge Match with Robert De Niro. He frequently appears on Joe Rogan's podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, and also hosts his own highly popular podcast, The Church of What's Happening Now. Sociably Unacceptable, Joey's first stand-up special, showcases his one-of-a-kind style of storytelling. The special first aired on Seeso on December 8, 2016, and was raved about by fans and critics alike.
