Mike Matthews brings more than 19 years of mortgage finance experience to the Cobalt team. Throughout his career, he has been recognized as a top loan originator and results-driven leader for several prominent financial institutions. Working in both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors, he has developed strong teams with award winning production levels.

Mike currently lives in Plano, Texas with his wife and their two children. He holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and is an avid sportsman. Mike has a strong commitment to the community. He has held positions as a board member for the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County and the Parks and Recreation board in Garland, Texas. In addition, he has volunteered as an ambassador for the Garland Chamber of Commerce.
