CoachArt Celebrates 10 Years of Serving Chronically Ill Youth Honoring Chandra Wilson, Actor/Director and Steven Streit, CEO Green Dot Corp. at Champion Ball
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Chandra Wilson, Actor/Director and Steve Streit, CEO, Green Dot Corporation will be honored at CoachArt's 7th Annual Champion Ball on October 20, 2011 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Hosted by Maria Menounos, Extra TV, special guests comedian Kevin Nealon and R&B singer Chante Moore, the event celebrates 10 years of service to chronically ill youth. Wilson is being honored with the Heart & Humanity award having braved an ordeal with a child with chronic illness. Streit is receiving the Courage & Hope award having taken in four foster youth—one of whom was diagnosed with a chronic illness. Both Wilson and Streit have seen CoachArt's program first hand and understand the value of supporting families dealing with frequent hospital visits, treatments and isolation that comes with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
The Champion Ball will showcase the work of CoachArt youth before over 500 influential and philanthropic leaders in finance, law, entertainment and business.
