CMT'S Musical Revue Gala Approaches - Top Talent From NYC and LA to Appear
SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Nationally acclaimed performing arts organization Children's Musical Theater San Jose (CMT) announced today plans for its annual Cabaret Night fundraiser. The black-tie gala affair will be held Saturday, February 4 in downtown San Jose's historic Civic Auditorium.
"In true CMT fashion, this event is always a full Broadway-style production," says board president Christine Burroughs. "We are proud to count many Silicon Valley businesses among our event sponsors this year, but we're looking for more." Sponsorship packages and benefits are unique for this event and donations for the live and silent auctions are welcome.
In addition to guests enjoying fine food and wine, the musical revue production will showcase CMT performs and alumni – all of whom will donate their time and talent for the evening. Several top talent performers are flying in from the New York City and Los Angeles metros, and even Broadway, to take the stage at the San Jose Civic for this engagement.
All proceeds benefit the programs of CMT including Summer Camps and ten annual productions serving more than 10,000 youth ages 6-21 this year. CMT is the preservation of the arts in San Jose. For more event info and to purchase tax deductible tickets, visit CMTSJ.org.
