PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CloudMine, an award-winning cloud-based platform solutions provider for the healthcare industry, announced updates to its leadership team, as well as additions to its staff. These actions reflect company initiatives aimed at anticipating the scale and scope of customer needs related to the rapidly emerging Enterprise Health Cloud market. "These are exciting times for the CloudMine team," stated Steve Wray, CEO of CloudMine. "We are experiencing a significant elevation in engagement with a diverse set of healthcare stakeholders who, like us, are convinced that connected healthcare is better healthcare. We've aligned our organizational structure, skillsets, and functional teams to ensure that we are prepared for enterprise-level scale in response to expanding customer needs."
Vince Varallo has joined CloudMine as Vice President, Technology Engineering, overseeing the company's technology teams, while providing strategic vision for the company's future platform development road map. Varallo brings over twenty years of platform development and agile process expertise to CloudMine. "The emergence of the Enterprise Health Cloud platform category is an important driver in the transformation of healthcare," stated Varallo. "I am excited to be part of this team in the development of new capabilities that will allow patients and providers to achieve truly connected healthcare." Prior to joining CloudMine, Varallo held product development leadership roles at privately-backed companies such as Cadient, Navport, and Viewpoint, as well as ICON Clinical Research.
Jeff Gardosh has been named Vice President, Security & Assurance for CloudMine. In this new role, Gardosh will be responsible for the company's security policies, procedures and monitoring efforts. His role will closely integrate with CloudMine's engineering, product development, and customer support teams, ensuring that CloudMine's Connected Health Cloud platform continues to exceed the security demands of an evolving healthcare environment. "CloudMine's commitment to security and compliance is an integrated component of the company's Connected Health Cloud. This approach will not only allow healthcare and life sciences stakeholders to accelerate efforts to achieve a better healthcare experience, but it will also provide a relevant competitive differentiator as they choose an Enterprise Health Cloud partner," noted Gardosh. Prior to joining CloudMine, Gardosh served as the CISO of the City of Philadelphia for the past six years.
In addition to these leadership roles, the CloudMine team has expanded across a number of key functional areas — enhancing the ability of the company to support expanding customer needs, accelerate platform development and innovation, and to advance our future strategic objectives. "The infusion of talent at CloudMine is energizing for our entire team," stated Wray. "Across the board, these new 'Miners' bring an impressive array of skills, perspective and experience that will benefit our customers. This period is one of maturation for our business, and we are thrilled to welcome these new team members." Those recent additions include: Hansel Akers and Tony Bermeo, Solutions Engineers; Will Bolton and Kyle Seaton, Platform Engineers; Dana Logalbo and Ashley Hannan, Product Owners; Kate Carney, Manager, HR and Operations.
