CipherHealth Hires Lisa Romano as Chief Nursing Officer; Names Barbara Davis as SVP of Client Success

NEW YORK, July 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- New York-based healthcare technology company, CipherHealth, has named Lisa Romano RN, MSN as the company's new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). CipherHealth's innovative technology and dedication to enhancing communication, care coordination, and outcomes for both providers and patients is now further enhanced with the addition of a dedicated clinical lead. 

Most recently, Romano served as CNO for Skylight Healthcare in San Diego and TeleTracking Technologies in Pittsburgh. She began her career at Lehigh Valley Hospital & Health Network in Allentown, PA where she worked as a Critical Care Nurse and Hospital Administrator. Romano brings a unique experience spanning 25+ years; blending Hospital Operations, Healthcare IT, and Cultural Transformation initiatives. She specializes in Patient Flow Operations, Transitions of Care, and Patient Engagement.

Romano is joined by Barbara Davis M.A, Senior VP of Client Success. Davis has 30+ years of experience in Healthcare Quality and Lean improvement. A former Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award examiner, Davis co-chairs the Patient and Family Advisory Council at SCl-Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver and is an affiliate faculty member of Regis University, Denver, CO.  Her specialties include: Patient and Family Centered Care Initiatives, Organizational and Program Assessment, and Leadership Coaching.  Through her own health care experiences and years in health care quality, Davis understands the needs of patients and strives to ensure that healthcare IT enables effective communication and patient empowerment.

Together, Romano and Davis bring a strong belief in the use of data to drive improvements and that transparency of information is key to ensuring accountability throughout the care delivery process.
