ATLANTA, Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cinnabon®, one of the world's most beloved and irresistible brands, strives to 'sweeten' the day for active-duty and veteran members of the U.S. military as Veterans Day approaches. Beginning Saturday November 7th through Veterans Day, Wednesday November 11th, 2015, for every CinnaPack® purchased, Cinnabon will donate $1.20 to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that aims to lift spirits and meet the evolving needs of the U.S. military and first responder communities through the delivery of personalized care packages.

Cinnabon encourages fans to express their support on social media using the hashtag #SweetSalute to send a picture of themselves saluting our troops. Cinnabon will collect images and video clips for one week (starting today) across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat in order to produce the ultimate appreciation montage. Participants can also submit their image for inclusion in the montage by visiting www.OperationSweetSalute.com. Each appropriate #SweetSalute image submitted will be printed and included in an Operation Gratitude care package. Military recipients will be able to respond to supporters using the hashtag.
Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude has shipped over 1.3 million care packages to new recruits, veterans, first responders, wounded warriors and their care givers. Cinnabon guests can look for the Operation Gratitude stickers on top of CinnaPacks™ to find those that qualify for the $1.20 donation to U.S. troops.
