Roxio CinemaNow Enables Access to Hollywood Hits on PCs and Connected Devices for Leading and Largest Motion Picture Exhibitor in Canada
NOVATO, Calif. and TORONTO, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sonic Solutions® (Nasdaq: SNIC) and Cineplex Entertainment ("Cineplex") (TSX: CGX.UN) today announced an agreement to provide consumers easy access to premium movies on a range of connected devices throughout Canada. As part of the collaboration, Cineplex has licensed the Roxio CinemaNow™ entertainment platform to power a new movie streaming and download service at www.cineplex.com scheduled to launch in 2010.
