Cimarex Announces Pricing of Common Stock Offering
DENVER, May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cimarex Energy Co. (NYSE: XEC) announced today that it has priced a public offering of 6,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $109.00 per share. Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes and to fund increased drilling and completion activity in the second half of 2015 and more significantly in 2016. Cimarex has also granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 shares of its common stock. The offering is expected to close on or about May 26, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions.
