Apache Corporation is one of the world's top independent oil and gas companies with exploration and production interests in the United States, Canada, Egypt, Australia, North Sea and Argentina.
With a geographically diverse workforce and global corporate culture, Apache was using inconsistent data models for HR data, including: compensation management, information flow and general reporting. As a result, they had difficulty managing multiple systems, along with the timeliness and quality of the data as it came in from various sources to its corporate headquarters. The Lawson Talent Management suite creates a centralized and integrated data management hub to create a global HR department with online workflows accessible by its managers and employees around the world.
"This is transformational to our business and creates a 'New World of Employee Information Management' at Apache," says Margie Harris, senior vice president of Human Resources. "We have re-engineered processes, gained a global understanding of the strategic value of HR data, can access meaningful real-time metrics, and can engage more directly with managers and employees," she adds.
Beth Dvoracek, director, Lawson practice at CIBER said, "We are excited to deploy Lawson's Talent Management solution with Apache. They realize the benefits of a fully integrated human capital management system, and we believe they will see immediate results on a global scale to make their HR functions more efficient, providing them a full view into all aspects of their workforce."
