In addition to the competition and other related events, Church's Chicken is also an official partner of the docu-series that tracks the lives of select WFD competitors from across the globe and their journey to the championships. The filming of the series is still in progress.
"Great food, like great music, moves us. We are honored and humbled to bring these talented and emerging artists into the spotlight so they can use their abilities to touch the lives of our guests," said Mark Snyder, Chief Marketing Officer for Church's Chicken and the catalyst of the alliance with the WFD Championship and Atlanta Institute of Music and Media. "This music competition is intense and we are confident that contestants' personal stories will strike chords with anyone who has ever played an instrument or identified with a song."
"Our customers and our crew should expect the unexpected with this competitive alliance. We at Church's Chicken will bring this music experience into our restaurants and hopefully to all the places our customers enjoy our food," Snyder added.
"Drummers were the first smart-phone. Drummers told the weather, led civilizations in and out of battles, celebrations and rituals for centuries. Yet history has forgotten the profound role drummers played in our social development. It's time to bring the power of the drumstick back to the forefront. We can think of no restaurant chain with more credibility in knowing drumsticks than Church's Chicken," said Boo McAfee, the creator of WFD – Extreme Sport Drumming Competition and the patented technology called Drumometer.

About WFD World's Fastest Drummer Extreme Sport Drumming
WFD is a sporting event that challenges speed drummers and employs an instrument called the Drumometer that counts drum strokes. The Drumometer is accepted by both the Guinness World Records organization and the WFD Extreme Sport Drumming competition as the official device used to determine the World's Fastest Drummer.
The primary goal of the competition is to determine who can play the most single strokes in sixty seconds. There are a variety of categories and World Records involved in WFD. After experimenting with various WFD competition formats in the United States, the event achieved international prominence as contestants began traveling from around the globe to compete at WFD World Finals.
