As an added value for shoppers, free gift-wrapping service will be offered during the weekend of Dec. 4 & 5, Dec. 11 & 12 and Dec 18 & 19 at Central Plaza in Chinatown, 942 N. Broadway, Los Angeles, 90012. Times for gift wrapping services are from 11am-4pm.
The holiday celebration in Chinatown will culminate on Dec. 2 as Chinatown hosts it first Christmas tree lighting celebration. There will also be special performances by Chinatown-based groups leading up to the event of the evening—a spectacular tree lighting in the center of Central Plaza. The Noble Fir will be decorated by renowned Floral and Holiday Designer Brad Schmidt in a uniquely Chinatown theme. The Christmas Tree Lighting event is free and open to all ages.
The Shopper's Pass Program runs from Nov. 22, 2010 through Feb. 28, 2011; the Christmas Tree Lighting event is Thursday, Nov. 2, 2010 beginning at 6 p.m.
