NUREMBERG, Germany, Jan. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- "Children's First AR Bible" was unveiled at the 2016 Spielwarenmesse international toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany today, lauded as the new must-have item in the Augmented Reality ("AR") technology industry.
Children's First AR Bible is a product of the PopUp AR Paintings series. Included in this "Bible" are Old Testament and New Testament stories, totaling 40 classic and well-known scripture scenes designed to meet kids' imaginative interests by using AR technology.
Children can use a smart device camera with the corresponding app to illustrate and convert 2-D images to 3-D interactive animation. They can also color in and watch through their screens a variety of iridescent 3-D actions and sounds presented in real-time imagery. The images on each captured page will be brought to "life" on the screen magically.
PopUp AR Paintings, a sub-brand under the brand NEOBEAR, was developed by YoungZone Culture, a Chinese tech company. In 2015, NEOBEAR successfully attained a high-level sales benchmark for its advanced products using AR technology. The company received equity investments in 2015 from tech or capital market giants, including Qualcomm, GGV Capital and ZTE Venture Capital. It is well known that Qualcomm has great experience and technology accumulation in the field of SDK in AR technology.
"It's a great idea for this generation of kids to interact, and the application of AR technology to Biblical stories, quality 3-D animation and interaction will make kids much more interested in understanding these stories", said Mr. Neo Jianming Xiong, founder and CEO of NEOBEAR, at the expo.
Before PopUp AR Paintings, NEOBEAR launched PopUp Zoo and PopUp Vehicles, which have currently become internationally marketed products. NEOBEAR also created an innovative AR hardware device, Magnifier NEO, to optimize children's experience in AR technology, and will launch this new product to the market in mid 2016.
Magnifier NEO received the iF Design Award Germany and the A' Design Award Italy among many others in 2015.
