Leading Philanthropy Advisor to Open San Francisco Office
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Charities Aid Foundation America (CAF America), the nation's leader in global giving, today announced the opening of a West Coast office to meet increasing demand from individuals, foundations and corporations for support on strategy and delivery of their worldwide charitable goals.
The new CAF America office in San Francisco represents a major expansion for the organization, headquartered in Washington, D.C., which has grown by more than 60% over the past two years as more and more philanthropists and businesses seek support to increase their giving.
CAF America's San Francisco office will draw on the unrivaled expertise of the CAF Global Alliance of offices in nine countries spanning six continents to provide its West Coast and Asian Pacific clients personal support to plan their charitable giving safely and tax-effectively.
The office will be led by veteran philanthropy advisor Paul Kalomeris, who will work with clients to help them plan their global giving and facilitate donations overseas, working closely with colleagues in Washington DC and around the world. With over 20 years of experience in philanthropy advice, fundraising, and strategic marketing, Mr. Kalomeris brings a track record of strengthening organizations' relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Mr. Kalomeris will also help CAF America use its leadership position within the international charitable giving sector in order to expand its work with corporate, private/community foundation and individual giving.

Paul Kalomeris is a seasoned fundraising and development specialist, who has worked with some of America's largest corporations to maximize the impact of their charitable giving. During his 11-year tenure at JK Group, he worked with leading corporations such as Apple, General Electric, Google and Thomson Reuters.
He built the organization's annual "Forum on Philanthropy" conference, where over 100 representatives from some of the world's largest and most prominent companies, national charities and consultants convened to review case studies and discuss industry best practices, enabling them to strengthen their programs and increase donor/employee satisfaction.
Previously, he managed multi-million fundraising campaigns with Fortune 500 companies and public sector agencies for United Way Bay Area. Mr. Kalomeris received his MBA from Santa Clara University. Paul is an avid runner and lives with his wife and two children in Marin County, California.
