CLEVELAND, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Chancellor University CEO Robert "Bob" H. Barker, Jr., announced today that Angela Siegel has joined the university as chief marketing officer.
"We are thrilled to welcome Angela to Chancellor University and look forward to leveraging her expertise in higher education, recruitment and marketing," said Barker. "Through her leadership we hope to grow Chancellor University, utilizing her expertise to increase awareness, inquiries, student population and alumni activity."
Siegel has more than a decade of experience in higher education, recruitment and marketing. Her career started in marketing at the University of Phoenix and then transitioned into advising enrolled undergraduate and graduate students before turning her focus back to marketing. Prior to joining Chancellor University's management team Siegel served as online marketing manager for Grand Canyon University, playing an important role in its well-managed enrollment growth. She also served as the director of enrollment marketing at Ward Media, Inc., an XL Education Corp. company.
"Chancellor University's programs are academically challenging and relevant to real-world professional development to assist our students in their careers today and prepare them for tomorrow's opportunities," said Siegel. "The biggest differentiator between Chancellor University and other schools is the quality of our academic programs, such as our partnership with Jack Welch, and personalized attention from advisors and faculty."
"Our students and alumni also act on the opportunity to reach their personal, educational, financial and career goals because they are diverse in what they're looking to gain from their educational advancement," continued Siegel. "The goal of their education tends to evolve through the duration of their academic experience because of their personal and professional growth; some want a career change, some want to enhance their skills for a promotion or salary increase; and many others want to attain a personal goal. All of these reasons are in the best interest of our students."
"I am elated to be part of Chancellor University's management team and culture. This school has an amazing history; there are great things happening now, and there will be more in the future for our students," concluded Siegel.
