LOUIS, July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced a new managed services agreement with Cellcom Israel, the leading mobile provider in Israel with over three million customers. Under the new agreement, Amdocs will manage day-to-day IT operations and application development and maintenance in support of the service provider's billing, customer care and ordering operations.
Amdocs' products have been supporting Cellcom Israel's billing, customer care and ordering operations for nearly a decade. By extending the relationship to include managed services, the service provider will be able to improve handling time of operational issues and application development capabilities and efficiencies, whereby improving customer service and better supporting its growth into new service areas.
