CHICAGO, Feb. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Market Data Express, LLC, a subsidiary of CBOE Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: CBOE), has launched a new market data service known as "CBOE Streaming Markets" (CSM). The service provides three separate, direct datafeeds of real-time quotations and trade information from CBOE, C2 Options Exchange (C2) and the CBOE Stock Exchange (CBSX).

CSM offers subscribers direct access to uncompressed top-of-the-order-book details, including best bid or offer quotes and all trades for regular options or stocks, as well as data on more complex strategies such as spreads, straddles and buy-writes.
"CBOE Streaming Markets was created in response to demand from trading firms looking for more streamlined access to market data from liquidity providers than is currently available," said Tom Knorring, CBOE Vice President, Trading Operations. "While last-sale and current quote information from the stock and option consolidated market feeds fits the needs of many market users, CSM provides the added benefits of furnishing quotes with reduced latency and enhanced information not available elsewhere," Knorring said.
