Causeway Media Partners Invests $8M in Flocasts
Austin-based sports media and events company changes the game for track and field, wrestling, gymnastics and elite fitness athletes and fans
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Flocasts today announced it has received $8 million in funding from Causeway Media Partners, a leading investment fund focused on sports media, entertainment, and related companies. The latest investment represents continued momentum for the burgeoning sports media property and events company based out of Austin, TX, which continues to focus on changing the way passionate communities connect over the growing sports they love.

Brothers Martin and Mark Floreani along with Madhu Venkatesan founded Flocasts in 2006, to serve fans of sports often ignored by mainstream media. Each of the verticals provides fans with live streaming of the nation's best events, original weekly web series, workouts and original insider doc-series.
