Causemo's Platform for Nonprofits Integrates Apple Pay

BOSTON, Dec. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Causemo today announced the integration of Apple Pay into its technology platform, which enables nonprofit organizations to acquire, cultivate and retain donors.

Similar to using Apple Pay to buy goods and services, users can now donate without entering their billing, shipping, or contact details. Causemo's platform will automatically detect whether a user is on an Apple Pay enabled device and if so, present Apple Pay as the default payment option for that individual.

"Websites and apps tell us they see twice as many people actually completing a purchase with Apple Pay than with other payment methods. Causemo's implementation of Apple Pay gives donors the ability to give with just the touch of their finger. On mobile, that means donors can use TouchID, Apple's biometric fingerprint authentication technology.  On the web, users click the Apple Pay donate button in Safari, then can confirm their payment via their iPhone or Apple Watch.
