DOVER, N.J., Sept. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As Casio America, Inc. expands its line of EDIFICE timepieces, the focus remains on technology. This smartly-designed collection of men's watches, including the EQB600D, EQB700D, and EQB800DB, combine bold design and functionality including enhanced timekeeping capabilities through smart phone connectivity. These advanced timepieces prove to be essential accessories for the globe-trotting man.
EQB600D
The EQB600D-1A2 features a unique, 3D globe dial which enables dual time. The main dial displays the Home Time (the time and date of the user's current home city), while the inset dome shaped dial displays the current time zone in the selected World Time city in a 24-hour format over a world map. This 3D globe dial, installed at the three o'clock position, rotates once a day in time with the Earth's rotation, with a small round hand indicating the time zone of the selected World Time city. The EQB-600 has a high-torque dual-coil motor that provides the power to drive the 3D globe dial. While reproducing an image of the earth's rotation on the dial, it changes settings with smooth movements.
EQB700D
The EQB700D-2A's functional, yet elegant design features a three-dimensional World Time Dial. The eight o'clock position displays the current time in a second location, while the battery indicator between 10 and 11 o'clock displays the current battery status at a glance. A third dial, near the three o'clock position, is driven by a dual-coil motor to move a special large hand that indicates the day of the week. Featuring a stainless steel band and a curved crystal glass watch face, the EQB700D provides a comfortable fit and an elegant look with a slim profile of 11.2mm.
EQB800DB
A high-performance timepiece, the EQB800DB-1A offers a dynamic, sporty look and features new Time Attack Recording capability. Inspired by motorsports, Time Attack Recording enables the wearer to track their racing times, record target times, as well as see a list of their best lap times through a helpful list and graph display. The EQB800DB is also water resistant up to 100 meters and is protected with a scratch resistant mineral crystal.
Smart Phone Link
The EQB600D, EQB700D, and EQB800DB feature Casio's Smartphone Link capability, enabling the wearer's smartphone with just a push of a button through Casio's Mobile Link Technology. By downloading the CASIO WATCH+ app and connecting to a compatible smartphone via Bluetooth® SMART, the watch can access the correct time in its current location and in up to 300 cities worldwide, even updating with the latest time zone and Daylight Saving Time information. It also has improved accuracy by automatically syncing, via phone, to a time server on the internet four times a day or it can be synced by a one-push reset to ensure ultimate accuracy.
Tough Solar Power
Each of these timepieces also comes equipped with Casio's Tough Solar Power, which consists of a solar panel system that converts light to electricity and eliminates the need for battery changes. The eco-friendly, solar battery-powered timepieces can be charged even in low or fluorescent light.
