Canadian Fashion Designer Launches Handmade Luxury Clothing Line That Gives Back
Jacoba Jane is launching an eponymous fashion collection that aims to provide women with an opportunity to wear beautifully handcrafted clothing while giving back to a cause that she believes is close to many people's hearts.
TOFINO, Canada, May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The debut women's clothing collection by Jacoba Jane, titled "Liquid and Shade," will consist of classic silhouettes in luxurious fabrics like silk charmeuse. The line will consist of six styles in six different colours, and each piece is crafted by the designer herself in her studio. Through the collection, the brand aspires to directly empower women in Nicaragua by enabling them to learn a new skill which will allow them to earn a higher income while staying home with their children.
