Canada's E1 Entertainment Signs With Rentrak to Track Its On-Demand Movie Business

PORTLAND, Ore., May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industries, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to provide E1 Entertainment (E1), one of the world's premier independent entertainment distributors, with advanced measurement services through Rentrak's OnDemand Essentials™ product.

With the company's expanding presence in the on-demand market, Rentrak's OnDemand Essentials tracking and measurement service will allow E1 Entertainment to evaluate its on-demand business and respond appropriately in order to remain competitive in the transactional-on-demand (TOD) category.
