Cadence Health Names Dan Kinsella Chief Information Officer
WINFIELD, Ill., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cadence Health, the health system created through the merger of Central DuPage Health and Delnor Community Health System, today announced that Dan Kinsella has been named the system's Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Executive Vice President. Mr. Kinsella, an industry veteran with more than 30 years of health care experience, replaced Dave Printz, who retired earlier this year.

Mr. Kinsella, 56, most recently served as Senior Vice President at Optum Insight, a division of United Healthcare, where he led technology consulting within the Accountable Care Services practice, including a role as Solution Architect and Program Manager for an alpha site ACO client in the Southwest.
Prior to Optum Insight, Mr. Kinsella was the National Practice Leader for Healthcare Consulting at The Revere Group, where he developed and managed the company's largest industry vertical practice, facilitating health care CIO groups and leading engagements for hospitals, health systems and health insurance companies. Mr. Kinsella has also held leadership roles at Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young and Andersen Consulting.

Mr. Kinsella earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology & Psychology from Northwestern University and a Master's in Management in Health Management & Finance from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
