Bustle Raises $11.5 Million in Funding Led by Saban Capital Group
Top Millennial News Site Posts Significant Growth; Series-C Round of Financing Reflects 2015 Traffic, Product and Advertiser Success
NEW YORK, March 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bustle, the largest digital media property targeting millennial women with a global audience of over 45 million monthly unique visitors, announced today that it has raised $11.5 million in additional funding, led by Saban Capital Group and with participation from GGV Capital. Existing investors Time Warner Investments, General Catalyst Partners, and Social Capital also participated. Bustle will use the capital to accelerate its rapid growth and continue to expand its editorial and video departments. The company will continue building its sales and brand offerings, which saw dramatic growth in 2015. Richard Yen, Managing Director, Private Equity at Saban Capital Group, will be joining the Bustle board as part of the investment.
