Bureau Veritas Launches BVOS ECommerce Application

BUFFALO, N.Y., Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (BVCPS), a world leader in quality assurance, product testing, certification, inspection, and audits, is pleased to announce the launch of ECOM, its latest development in the BV OneSource (BVOS) suite.  This new ECommerce platform aims to improve the ability to source safe and quality products in a timely manner.  

ECOM will enable importers of consumer products to accomplish a range of tasks through one convenient tool, including: creating a free account; booking, scheduling and paying for an inspection/audit; tracking the status of on-going jobs 24/7; and obtaining detailed reports as well as access to a repository of all inspection and audit reports booked through ECOM. In addition, the ECOM solution streamlines the Test Request Form (TRF) process by allowing clients to copy previous submissions, thus saving time and effort.
