BrickStix® Teams with Nickelodeon™ on SpongeBob SquarePants® and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® Reusable Stickers for Plastic Construction Bricks!
MILWAUKEE, Feb. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BrickStix® LLC, the company that transformed plastic connecting bricks with removable and reusable decorative decals, today announced its new multi-year licensing partnership with Nickelodeon™ to produce Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® and SpongeBob SquarePants® reusable stickers for construction toys.
BrickStix, the brainchild of then nine-year-old Greyson MacLean, sells its patented reusable stickers for plastic construction bricks around the world. Now U.S. customers can expand their construction brick builds with sets from these two popular Nickelodeon franchises.
Toy insiders will get a preview of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants BrickStix reusable sticker lines at the American International Toy Fair in New York City (Booth #6033), held at the Jacob K. Javits Center from February 13-16, 2016. The public can get its first peek at the new BrickStix Nickelodeon sets at Play Fair (Booth #124), also held at the Javits Center from February 13-14, 2016.
"Partnering with Nickelodeon is a dream come true. I can't wait for kids to see what we have created and have the chance to use their imagination to tell their own SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stories," said Greyson MacLean, 16, Inventor and CEO at BrickStix LLC. "I have a feeling kids and parents will be playing together. These are shows parents have watched with their kids for years. Who wouldn't want to make up some adventures of their own?"
The SpongeBob SquarePants BrickStix reusable stickers feature two different sets that can be used separately or together to recreate Bikini Bottom. The Pineapple set brings SpongeBob's house to life, complete with Jellyfish Fields and Gary, SpongeBob's pet snail. The Krusty Krab set turns bricks into Krabby Patty-flipping adventures where consumers can have a cooking contest, relive their favorite SpongeBob SquarePants episode and even protect the secret formula from Plankton.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles BrickStix reusable sticker sets include The Sewer and Good vs. Evil. The Sewer set replicates the Turtles' lair where the Turtles can train with Master Splinter, eat pizza with Bishop and April O'Neil, or defend their underground home. The Good vs. Evil set pairs the Turtles with April O'Neil and Casey Jones to battle The Kraang, Shredder and Rocksteady.
Nickelodeon branded BrickStix are available now at BrickStix.Com and will be hitting retailers this Spring.
