The Acoustic/Rock/Alternative artist Brandon Bogues has returned from his recent Caribbean tour to release his self-titled debut album at the Magic Bag in Ferndale Oct. 10th, Sponsored by 13th Hour Tattoos in Eastpointe and Disaster Relief Restoration
DETROIT, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Brandon Bogues, hailed as "Detroit's BEST KEPT SECRET" by 89X, has a uniquely even-handed rock reminiscent of bands like Staind and Finger Eleven, where you are just bound to sing along to the captivating combination of seasoned songwriting and catchy lyrics. His 7 song solo EP wields songs somewhat like that of Alice in Chains and Radiohead.
The CD's signature chilling sound developed from the heart of Detroit's own home-grown music engineers, Tom of the Audio Cafe as well as Jack Henry and Toni Hamera, that have sculpted recordings at established studios like the Gold and multi-Platinum donning Rust Belt Studios, best known for their work with Kid Rock, all the way to the Tempermill Studios, best known for their work with The Verve Pipe and ICP. The photos for the album were taken by Jessica Elkins Photography and edited by Brandon Bogues.
The CD RELEASE PARTY will be taking place at the Magic Bag on Woodward just north of 9 Mile on Oct. 10th from 7 p.m. till midnight; admission is just $10, sponsored by Disaster Relief Restoration and 13th Hour Tattoos. Keep up with all the events happening around the release at http://www.bbogues.com or follow him on MySpace, Facebook or Twitter.
To start the night off, local openers False City and Green Collar will be sharing the stage along with the Boston-based band Highly Suspect (in association with Zion Entertainment Marketing).
