PALM SPRINGS, Calif., April 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer and Actor/Activist Jesse Williams will be keynote speakers at the 10th Annual BOOST Conference, to be held in Palm Springs, Calif. at the Palm Springs Convention Center from April 18-21, 2017.
Just after her keynote address, BOOST Collaborative will be honoring Senator Boxer for her lifetime of dedication to education with an OSTI (Out-of-School Time Innovations) Award presented by Afterschool Alliance Executive Director Jodi Grant. This will be followed by an audience Q & A, and The Art of Tough book signing.

Actor & Activist Jesse Williams will be joining us for his keynote address on April 20, 2017. A native of Chicago and graduate of Temple University, Jesse Williams began his professional career teaching high school in low-income Philadelphia public charter schools. From there he moved to New York City and, after working at a law firm, began his professional acting career.
Williams is in his 8th season as Dr. Jackson Avery in ABC's hit series Grey's Anatomy and most recently served as senior producer and correspondent for EPIX docuseries America Divided with Norman Lear.
