Boeing and Its Employees Commit $70,000 to Support Clean-up and Relief Efforts in St. Louis
CHICAGO, April 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) and its employees will contribute $70,000 to the American Red Cross for its relief efforts in St. Louis following the damage caused by a tornado April 22.
The company announced Monday it will contribute $50,000 and the St. Louis Employees Community Fund will contribute $20,000 to the American Red Cross for its relief efforts. Boeing directly employs more than 15,000 people in the St. Louis region.
