BlueRock Energy Rewards Shareece Wright's Uber Driver With $932.08

SYRACUSE, N.Y., June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BlueRock Energy, Inc, a Syracuse-based premier energy solutions company and the official energy supplier of the Buffalo Bills, is showing its appreciation to Hadi Abdollahian, the Uber driver who drove Buffalo Bills cornerback Shareece Wright more than 500 miles to attend Organized Team Activities (OTA's). BlueRock Energy, a Buffalo Bills sponsor, is matching the $932.08 fare paid by Wright to thank Abdollahian for his part in helping the team prepare for the 2017-18 season.

Wright, a seven-year vet and third round pick in the 2011 NFL draft was on his way to attend the Bills' OTA's when his connecting flight from Chicago to Buffalo was canceled. Unable to find another flight in time, Wright turned to Uber as his only way to get to Buffalo in time to practice with his new team.

"It may seem crazy to request someone to drive anywhere more than 10 miles, but to have Mr. Abdollahian drive me more than 500 miles to get me to my job, it truly means a lot. I'd like to thank Mr. Adbaollahian for stepping in and making sure I wouldn't miss OTAs as I begin my first year as a Buffalo Bill. The payment of $932.08 is a testament to his character and commitment to helping others."

Mr. Abdollahian, who hails from Chicago, drives for the ride-share company part-time. He is currently applying for college, where he plans on majoring in computer science. His goal is to become an astronaut. His father was a pilot for the Air Force in Iran.

"I am honestly shocked right now and unfortunately do not know what to say," says Abdollahian. "I was just doing my job and wanted to have Mr. Wright get to his destination.
