WILTON, Conn., Nov. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. When Anna, a young girl from Wilton who was diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, was approached by Make-A-Wish Connecticut, she was asked what her one true wish would be --- and she wanted to create a puppy play room at a dog shelter. She envisioned a place that all families could enjoy with their furry friends. Anna wanted to create an indoor dog-like park for all of the rescue puppies and dogs to feel comfortable and have a nice place to meet potential adopters and families. It was a natural fit for Make-A-Wish Connecticut and Blue Buffalo to partner on this incredible wish that not only brings endless smiles to Anna but will provide memories forever for dogs and families to experience in the community.
Anna's journey has been long and hard. But thanks to Blue Buffalo and Make-A-Wish Connecticut, she has a new journey to look forward to --- a journey filled with hope, strength, joy... and bringing happiness to her new furry friends!
BLUE hosted Anna, her best friend and her family with a kick-off wish celebration to share with Anna that her wish has been granted and the construction will begin immediately for her puppy play room at a local shelter.
