Billtrust Hires Veteran CFO And CRO To Further Accelerate Company Success
New CFO Ed Jordan and CRO Kirk Dauksavage, Each with Proven Experience Impacting High Growth Curve Companies, will Help Prepare Billtrust for Future Opportunities
HAMILTON, N.J., Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Billtrust, the leading outsourced billing services provider, today announced the addition of Kirk Dauksavage as its new Chief Revenue Officer and Ed Jordan as the company's new Chief Financial Officer. The two executives bring a wealth of technology industry experience, along with proven expertise helping companies achieve accelerated levels of financial success in competitive market segments.
Jordan spent the last 25 years helping private equity-backed firms prepare for future investor opportunities. Among his many successes, Jordan led the acquisition of mobile barcode technology company JAGTAG Inc. as that company's CEO; he also served as CFO of ITXC Corporation and Dialogic Inc., where he guided those two companies' IPOs.
Dauksavage's background includes industry-relevant experience gained at BlueGill Technologies, where as Vice President of Sales he helped prepare the company for acquisition by CheckFree Corporation. He also served as CEO of RiverGlass, a maker of analytical software that was acquired by ASG in 2011. Most recently, Dauksavage worked at enterprise IT solutions leader ASG Software Solutions where he was Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing.
"Billtrust has an exceptional record of success, having been on the Inc. 500/5000 list for seven consecutive years and attracting major funding from Bain Capital Ventures. As we look toward our next chapter, the time is right to bring in the next level of senior leadership," said Flint A. Lane, Billtrust CEO and President. "Ed and Kirk each have the unique blend of experience and knowledge we need in our financial and business development areas. We welcome their contributions to our executive team."
"Billtrust is on a tremendous growth curve and is positioned especially well for future success from the financial and operations points of view," said Jordan. "The company has a great team and a dominating product position, which contributes to my enthusiasm in being here. I'm looking forward to helping Billtrust expand its position as the leader in outsourced billing services."
"I've been fortunate to have been part of very successful companies in the past. The opportunity to help Billtrust realize its own potential is very exciting," commented Dauksavage. "I welcome the chance to get back into the payments space—a segment in which there is a huge upside for development."
