Billaway Expands Team with Addition of Martin Harriman and Maxine Birmingham

NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Martin Harriman and Maxine Birmingham are the latest team members to join Billaway to further expand the company's global footprint.
Martin is an entrepreneur, investor and advisor to international companies such as AT&T, Actavo and Dixons Carphone. He is the Chairman of Wave Optics, a UK technology company that is a pioneer in the world of augmented reality and is a non-Executive Director of Cambridge Communication Systems, an early leader in the cellular small cell market. He is Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University Judge Business School and is a Judge of the Pitch@Palace programme, where he is also a member of its Board of Directors.
Martin served as a board member of the UK mobile operator O2 and Head of Telefonica's global consumer Internet of Things business based in Madrid. Martin was an advisor for Harbinger Capital Partners in New York, then served as Executive Vice President of Lightsquared Inc., the multi-billion-dollar wireless business backed by Harbinger.
Maxine Birmingham, a marketing pioneer with over 25 years of global commercial, strategy and innovation experience is the founder of thinkingaroundcorners. Prior to that, Maxine spent over 12 years working at Vodafone Group. She has led the development and execution of propositions around mass market mobile internet, content and information services, mobile broadband, tablets, converged household propositions and the role of the Internet of Things. Prior to Vodafone, she led Orange telecoms brand into new geographies, segments and sectors.
