Big Brothers Big Sisters Raises a Record-Breaking $563,000 At 2016 Big Black Tie Ball
DALLAS, Nov. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- At this year's Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Black Tie Ball guests enjoyed a captivating performance by four-time Grammy Award nominated artist, Jewel. The heartfelt stories Jewel told from her real-life experiences had the audience laughing one moment and in tears the next. She shared the importance of having mentors in her life and how she values what Big Brothers Big Sisters is doing for so many children throughout Dallas. Prior to Jewel's astonishing acoustic performance, guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner and participated in a paddle gripping live and silent auction.
The night's program also paid tribute to this year's Honorary Corporate Partner, Nerium International, Big Brothers Big Sisters' largest corporate fundraising partner in the United States. In addition to financial support, more than 300 Nerium International Independent Brand Partners and Employees volunteer to mentor children in Big Brothers Big Sisters programs nationwide.
