Berkshires-based Textiles Company To Open Inn And Retail Store In Lenox, Massachusetts
Annie Selke Will Bring Luxury Lodging Experience & Retail Store to Main Street
LENOX, Mass., May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Annie Selke, the Berkshires-based design visionary behind the nationally-recognized brands Pine Cone Hill and Dash & Albert Rug Company will expand her growing empire this summer in Lenox, Massachusetts with the opening of 33 Main, an eight-room luxury inn located at 33 Main Street in August and a 720-square foot Annie Selke retail store located at 36 Main Street.
Slated to open in August, 33 Main, an Annie Selke luxury lodging experience, will feature eight ensuite rooms (seven king beds, one queen bed), two of which will be pet-friendly. By entering the hospitality industry, 33 Main elevates the Annie Selke brand by offering a truly one-of-a-kind shop-able stay in the Berkshires. Each Annie Selke item featured in 33 Main from the beds, rugs, lamps, furniture, and more will be available for purchase through menu cards located in each guest room. Partnering with likeminded luxury brands to complete the guest experience, 33 Main will feature mattresses from Hästens and tile from The Tile Shop, among other design brands, with all product highlighted in-room with information on where to buy.
The Annie Selke pop-up store, opening the first week of June, is poised to be a one-stop shopping destination for consumers looking to be fully immersed in the Annie Selke brand. With a vision to bring the catalog to life, referring to the brand's retail catalog that has been in circulation nationally since fall 2016, the store will be reflective of all things Annie and will showcase bedding, rugs, jewelry, tabletop, storage, decorative items, art and more. Though small in square footage, the store, located in the heart of downtown Lenox, will have a digitally-enhanced design concept where shoppers can utilize high-tech capabilities including television monitors and iPads to shop the full Annie Selke collection.
When asked about the projects, Selke, a Lenox resident who grew up in Berkshire county, said, "As the owner of a lifestyle retail brand and someone who travels over 175 nights a year, I feel uniquely qualified to enter the hospitality world and I'm excited to bring the best of my hotel experiences to the Berkshires. 33 Main will focus on creating a great night's sleep with graciousness, thoughtfulness, and understated elegance."
