NEW YORK, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Benny Caiola passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22nd 2010 in New York, NY. He is survived by his wife Bettina, and his children Benny 3rd, Luigi Caiola, Alfred and Rose.
He was the beloved brother to Alfred, Louis, Bettina and the late Salvatore, cherished grandfather of eight, and so much to so many. Mr. Caiola was deeply loved by his family and all who knew him. His charismatic and gracious personality made him a giant among men. He leaves behind a legacy which will keep his spirit alive for generations to come. He came to America at the age of 17 from San Fratello, Italy.
Mr. Caiola founded B & L Management, LLC, which owns and manages buildings all over Manhattan. He worked his way up from plasterer to general contractor finally building a Real Estate Empire of his own throughout Manhattan. The joy of providing for his family was what drove him.
In addition to being well known as a real estate developer and owner Mr. Caiola was known for his wit and his generous and caring ways. His passion included owning the largest and most extensive Ferrari collection in the world. Having worked his way up he never forgot what it was like for the average working person. He was always there to offer advice and assistance in any way possible.
Services will be held Saturday, April 24, and Sunday, April 25 at the Frank Campbell Funeral Home at 1076 Madison Avenue (81st) from 2-4:30 and 7-9PM. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
