Benefit Concert for NYC Battered Women
Ryan Brahms at The Cutting Room, April 8th 2015
NEW YORK, April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 3Q's Productions and musical artist, Ryan Brahms, has announced that they will be hosting an event on April 8th at The Cutting Room to benefit Lighthouse Outreach. The proceeds will go to NYC battered women's shelters that house domestic violence victims, as well as those that suffer from substance abuse. "The ups and downs that life throws at us and the strength to overcome adversity, it's in these moments where we grow and where we truly live," said Brahms.
Brahms has overcome his own great personal tragedy. A violent attack in 2014 left him with the inability to perform for a year while he recovered. During this period he connected deeply with those around him who were seeking hope, clarity and support. From this journey, his album Superman was born. Powerful lyrics, gritty vocals and music with influences of pop, R&B and soul are trademarks of this album.
When Tommy Byrnes, of The Billy Joel Band, heard about this event, he wanted to become a part of it. He will be taking the stage on April 8th at 8pm with Brahms. Other prominent musicians are rumored to be part of the project, although names have not yet been released.
Admission is free, 3Q's Productions will be sponsoring FREE admission for all guests. In addition, 3Q's Productions will be donating $15 to Lighthouse Outreach for each person that attends the event.
