BLOOMSBURG, Pa., Dec. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Weis Markets today presented $100,000 to Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that raises awareness and enlists public support for the needs of injured service members.
Dan Koch, Weis Markets' Vice President, Fresh Merchandising and a U.S. Air Force veteran presented the check, at an in-store event in Bloomsburg, PA, to Jeff Combs, a warrior outreach coordinator for Wounded Warrior Project and a former U.S. Marine who was severely wounded while serving in Iraq.
