Bedding Companies Choose Tupelo Furniture Market

TUPELO, Miss., July 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2014, Furniture Today magazine predicted that retail bedding sales will hit $16.1 billion by 2018, a 15.8% increase over the 2013 mark and roughly a 3% per year increase for the following 5-years.  This is no surprise to the producers of the Tupelo Furniture Market, one of the largest furniture and bedding trade markets in the United States.  In fact, for several years now, Tupelo Furniture Market has quietly added close to 40 bedding manufacturers to its base of exhibiting companies, making their upcoming August event one of the largest showcases of mattress and bedding companies in the United States!  In response, the furniture market has asked its bedding companies to develop "one-of-a-kind" show promotions to create "mania" in Tupelo, August 20-23.

According to Seddon, the number of bedding companies that have agreed to participate in the event thus far include Serta, Symbol, Sealy, Corsicana, Noctova, Malouf, Sleeptronic/KingKoil of Texas, Restonic, Boyd Specialty, Southerland, Campbell Mattress, Serenity Sleep, Pure Talalay Bliss, Easy Rest, Cassady Close Outs, Capital Bedding, Five Star and Englander. 

"We are confident that more will be added to this list in the next few weeks and we plan on posting those involved and their promotions on our website at www.tupelofurnituremarket.com/mattressmania," explained Seddon.  "However, we have been asked to wait until the first week or so of August before we post the specials on our website or e-mail them to show registrants.  Our bedding exhibitors want to be clear that the special pricing and programs will only be available at the Tupelo Furniture Market and they will not be taking orders by telephone."
