Beckman Coulter's Access PCT Procalcitonin Assay receives U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance

BREA, Calif., Jan. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Beckman Coulter, a global leader in clinical diagnostics, today announced that its Access PCT assay has received FDA 510(k) clearance and is now available for sale in the United States. The sensitivity of the Access PCT assay helps physicians assess critically ill patients in danger of progression to severe sepsis or septic shock—with test results available in under 20 minutes.
