Bautex Systems Names Chris Noone Vice President of Sales and Business Development to Lead Texas Growth
SAN MARCOS, Texas, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Bautex Systems today announced it has expanded its management team with the addition of Vice President of Sales and Business Development Chris Noone, who joins the company after more than a decade in senior sales management roles at Oldcastle, Inc.
Noone brings experience leading sales efforts across a four-state region including Texas, serving architects, engineers, contractors and building owners via direct and indirect sales.
Bautex Systems manufactures Bautex Block, an insulated concrete block made from beads of expanded polystyrene blended with a proprietary cementitious mixture. The fully installed Bautex Wall System provides a complete wall solution in a single integrated assembly that exceeds building codes for energy efficiency and life safety. It is simpler to design and construct and performs better than traditional wall systems, while also creating a quieter, more comfortable indoor environment. The Bautex Wall System, constructed with Bautex Block, is well suited for both commercial and residential buildings because it is fast and easy to construct using familiar construction techniques.
Based in Dallas and reporting to Bautex President Paul Brown, Noone will be responsible for leading the Bautex sales team, and cultivating relationships with architects and builders who want to stay ahead of changing code requirements for commercial and residential construction, while meeting their clients' needs for more efficient, durable and comfortable buildings. Noone will also supervise relationships and opportunities with Bautex distributors Acme Brick in north, west and southeast Texas, and Martini Brick along the Gulf Coast.
"Bautex Systems is already meeting the needs of Texas' visionary architects, engineers and contractors who want better materials for more durable, sustainable and energy-efficient buildings," says Noone. "The broader Texas construction industry is on the cusp of having to make significant changes in the way they design and build because the state and its cities are adopting 2015 building codes that raise the bar for energy efficiency, life safety and overall building performance. The Bautex Wall System provides them with a simplified path toward meeting building code requirements today and in the future.
"Bautex is uniquely positioned to help these new building code challenges with a simple and cost-effective approach, and the potential impact on the industry was too much to ignore," Noone says.
"Our momentum in the Texas market continues to build, and Chris understands the challenges that the commercial construction industry is facing today," says Brown. "His relationships in Texas and surrounding states, and his enthusiasm for what's happening in the construction market are great strengths for our customers, our distributors and our team."
Noone holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Kansas State University and is certified by the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) and Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute (ICPI).
