State Farm Bank launches Mobile Check Deposit with new version of Pocket Agent application
BLOOMINGTON, Ill., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- With the newest version of the State Farm® Pocket Agent™ iPhone® app, State Farm Bank customers can deposit checks into their State Farm Bank deposit account directly from their phones.
The process is simple: Just endorse the check, enter the amount and take its picture. Mobile Check Deposit supports scanning of unlimited checks per day, up to $10,000. State Farm Bank is making banking easier with secure check deposits whenever – and wherever – it's convenient for people.
Mobile Check Deposit will work with iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 and the service allows State Farm Bank customers to quickly and securely deposit checks into their State Farm Bank savings, checking, interest checking and Money Market accounts. The service also sends a confirmation notice from State Farm Bank when your check is received.
State Farm plans to launch several updates to its Pocket Agent this fall. Those updates will include allowing State Farm Bank customers to view their transaction history and pay their bills. Plans are also under way to launch Mobile Check Deposit on the Android™ version of Pocket Agent.

State Farm Pocket Agent is a full-featured iPhone and Android application which allows auto policyholders, registered on statefarm.com, to begin the claims submission process with the touch of a finger, while still at the scene of an accident.
