Banking Executive Stephen D. Steinour Joins Liberty Property Trust's Board of Trustees
MALVERN, Pa., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Liberty Property Trust (NYSE: LRY) today announced that Stephen D. Steinour, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Huntington Bancshares, Incorporated, has joined Liberty's board of trustees.
Huntington Bancshares is a $53 billion regional bank holding company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Through its subsidiaries, including its banking subsidiary, The Huntington National Bank, Huntington provides full-service commercial and consumer banking services, mortgage banking services, equipment leasing, investment management, trust services, brokerage services, customized insurance service program, and other financial products and services. Huntington National Bank's 600-plus banking offices and nearly 1,300 ATMs are located in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior to joining Huntington, Mr. Steinour was managing partner of CrossHarbor Capital where he was an investment committee member and responsible for the general management of the firm.
Prior to joining CrossHarbor, Mr. Steinour was president and chief executive officer of Citizens Financial Group and was responsible for overseeing the commercial bank holding company's business lines and operations. Citizens Financial Group is one of the 10 largest commercial bank holding companies in the United States in total assets and deposits.
Mr. Steinour is a member of the board of directors of Exelon Corporation. He is a member of The Columbus Partnership, and a trustee of the Eisenhower Fellowships and the National Constitution Center. He is a past chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
