AXS TV Fights Renews Its Broadcast TV Rights Deal With Legacy Fighting Championship
New Multi-Year Agreement Includes 12 Fights in 2014
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AXS TV FIGHTS, the home of more LIVE mixed martial arts events in 2013 than any other network, and Legacy Fighting Championship, one of the fastest growing promotions in MMA, announced today the signing of a new multi-year broadcast TV rights agreement.
The new long-term deal coincides with the Houston-based organization's rapid growth since it debuted on AXS TV in May 2012. AXS TV Fights will broadcast 12 LIVE Legacy events in 2014, a 100 percent increase from the promotion's six nationally televised events in 2012.
Additionally, Legacy will venture outside of the state of Texas for the first time with events scheduled in New Mexico, Louisiana, and Tennessee in addition to regular stops in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.

Legacy's next live event, LFC 25, will air tonight from Houston on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET | 7 p.m. PT. The fight card features the championship main event Jorge Patino, who will defend his lightweight title against undefeated Carlos Ferreira."The Voice" Michael Schiavello and former UFC champion Pat Miletich will call all the action during the LIVE AXS TV Fights broadcast.
