AXIOM Systems, Inc. Announces the General Release of TransSend v5.5 Addressing HIPAA 5010 Transactions
FREDERICK, Md., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- AXIOM Systems, Inc. (AXIOM), today announced the general release of its HIPAA 5010 compliant version of TransSend, a software application developed specifically for healthcare organizations engaged in HIPAA EDI commerce.
TransSend insulates an organization's "back-end" processing system(s) by pushing HIPAA transaction processing logic into the Store and Forward repository. This architecture supports 4010 and 5010 transactions concurrently while minimizing a Client's implementation, support and remediation efforts. Additional support for HIPAA 5010 migration strategies is provided by step up and step down transaction conversion capabilities.
"TransSend v5.5 is designed specifically to meet the needs of HIPAA 5010 and provides healthcare organizations with a solution to achieve a successful compliance strategy, which our current install base of over 16 customers can attest to," noted Richard Howe, CEO of AXIOM. "Through their use of TransSend, these customers are able to leverage their investment and greatly streamline their HIPAA 5010 migration efforts."
