NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dealerships with access to the automotiveMastermind® (Mastermind) technology now have the ability to deliver prescreen offers to consumers by using Equifax PowerLead Offer™. With the data obtained through PowerLead Offer, Mastermind is able to generate a Behavior Prediction Score (BPS) for each customer and send them a personalized, micro-targeted prescreen firm offer.
PowerLead Offer is a real-time credit-based feature that can be used with consumers browsing the dealership showroom or customers having their vehicle serviced. As an integrated part of Mastermind's solution for dealerships, this quick and easy assessment of a customer's credit worthiness, combined with the Behavior Prediction Score, an indicative ranking from 0-100 of how likely the customer is to purchase a vehicle, enables dealers to deliver the right offer, to the right customer, at the right time.
Since implementing the technology, 36 percent of dealer partners have identified more than 20 percent in new sales opportunities and 81 percent indicated the Mastermind technology makes it easier to sell cars in today's environment[1]. By accelerating the funding and delivery of new vehicles and with Mastermind and Equifax, dealers are able to sell smarter.
"Every dealer wants to increase sales and customer satisfaction and in teaming up with Equifax we are able to quickly and easily help dealers fulfill that goal," said Johannes Gnauck, CEO and Co-Founder of automotiveMastermind. "We want to provide dealers with every tool available and now they will be able to identify which consumers are likely to buy based on results from BPS and PowerLead Offer, providing them with a firm offer of credit for financing a replacement vehicle."
"In a marketing campaign, if a consumer's BPS is higher than 50, they will be targeted for a pre-screened lease or finance campaign mailer as facilitated by their PowerLead results," said Andrew Gillman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for automotiveMastermind. "Those with a BPS lower than 50 are considered not in market, yet will receive a more generic prescreen offer of credit mailer, customized to their interests as dictated by our platform. This process helps push consumers who are most interested toward purchasing a new vehicle."
"There's a myriad of reasons why consumers hesitate to engage in the traditional retail auto shopping model," said John Giamalvo, Vice President and Auto Dealer Leader for Equifax. "Fortunately, sophisticated tools like PowerLead exist to help dealers get ahead of shoppers with a high propensity to buy by providing firm credit offers. We are very happy to join forces with automotiveMastermind, in their proactive platform, to help dealers get in front of the future of car buying."
To utilize the PowerLead Offer service, dealers must have a relationship with both Equifax and Mastermind, which will allow consumers to be prescreened for firm credit offers, with no impact to their credit scores. If a dealer does not have a relationship with Equifax, Mastermind can facilitate the onboarding process.
