AT&T Recognized for Cyber Security Leadership by National Association of Counties

DALLAS, April 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* announced today it has been recognized by the National Association of Counties (NACo) for its work to promote cyber security public-private partnerships with local county governments.
At NACo's annual legislative conference, AT&T was honored with the association's 2013 Award for Corporate Excellence, recognizing the company's work and support for advancing NACo's efforts on cyber security, serving as a member of the association's Cybersecurity Task Force and supporting on-going education efforts with their members.
Shortly after being installed as NACo President, Chris Rodgers, commissioner, Douglas County, Neb., sought to highlight cyber security as a critical issue affecting counties. "AT&T has been a valued asset in NACo's efforts to start a dialogue on cyber security with our members, helping raise the level of awareness," said Rodgers.
