AT&T Expands Mobile Internet Network In Catskills Mountain Area

MARGARETVILLE, N.Y., Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* today announced the expansion of its mobile Internet network in eastern Delaware County to Margaretville and Arkville, extending coverage for wireless voice and data access for advanced mobile services, devices and applications to more customers in the Catskills Mountain region.

As the result of a new cell site, AT&T customers now have mobile network voice and data coverage in Margaretville located on the edge of the Catskill Park in the South Central area of Middletown, Arkville and along Route 30 between Margaretville and Kelly Corners and on Route 28 between Margaretville and Fleischmanns.

The new wireless voice and data coverage complements AT&T's existing wireless footprint in areas of Shandaken and Prattsville. Recently AT&T also upgraded mobile Internet sites in Downsville and Shandaken to enhance coverage and speed.
