DALLAS, Feb. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* today announced that it has reached a tentative agreement with the Communications Workers of America in Mobility contract negotiations in CWA District 6 (AT&T's Southwest region).
The two sides had on Feb. 26 agreed to a 48-hour contract extension. The agreement, which will be submitted to the union's membership for a ratification vote in coming days, was reached prior to expiration of the extended contract at 11:59 p.m. Central Time Feb. 28. It covers more than 9,400 Mobility employees in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Out of respect for the union membership, AT&T will not comment on details of the tentative agreement until it has been presented to them for a vote by their leadership.
