Ateb Integrates EQuIPP Patient Performance Data Into Its Platform Offering Direct Access For Its Pharmacy Partners
RALEIGH and DURHAM, N.C., Aug. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ateb, Inc., the industry's leading provider of pharmacy-based patient care solutions will integrate Pharmacy Quality Solutions' (PQS), EQuIPP pharmacy performance and measurement data into its proprietary Patient Management Access Portal (PMAP) to provide one platform for mutual pharmacy partners.
EQuIPP's performance information management platform makes unbiased, benchmarked performance data available to both health plans and community pharmacy organizations. By integrating EQuIPP into Ateb's online PMAP platform, Ateb's partners can now reconcile pharmacy performance data with plan-based quality measures, thus providing a more holistic view of the patient. Pharmacies will have the ability to drill down to more detailed EQuIPP displayed quality metrics. Plus, with easier accessibility to all metrics in one platform, pharmacies will minimize disruption in their workflow.
As an industry innovator in combining technology, operations, analytics, and workflow into seamless patient care solutions, Ateb currently aggregates a tremendous amount of data which its pharmacy partners access through Ateb's PMAP platform. Utilizing these sources of data, pharmacies can identify which patients need what intervention and when, allowing them to effectively and proactively help patients to drive healthier outcomes in an affordable manner.
"We believe the combination of patient accessibility, big data, and predictive analytics uniquely positions pharmacies to be key players in providing affordable, effective health care to patients. For those pharmacies utilizing EQuIPP, Ateb provides the added benefit to seamlessly view data in one single platform," stated Frank Sheppard, President and CEO of Ateb.
Ateb and PQS will collaborate to provide pharmacies access to those patients identified as Outliers, allowing pharmacy to engage those targeted patients and enroll them in the appropriate programs, such as Ateb's Time My Meds®, medication synchronization. The addition of data from health plans and managed care organizations to help identify patient outliers adversely impacting performance helps pharmacies focus on improving quality measure performance. This feature provides the opportunity to document and then improve outcomes related to value-based reimbursements.
"The direct integration of EQuIPP's performance information and Ateb's patient management expertise allows pharmacies to move more quickly from measurement to improvement. This collaborative effort ensures that the most important information related to value-based care and payment programs stays front and center in the pharmacy workflow, leading to better performance and improved outcomes," stated Mark Conklin, Interim President, V.P. Operations, Pharmacy Quality Solutions.
